| Gearóid Quinn 4th Dan Black Belt Began training in 1982 at Trinity College and at the KUI HQ, Dorset Street (KUI / JKA) with Sensei Steve O Connor & Sensei Tommy McGrane Trained in the UK with BP Wado-Ryu Karate Club and Swansea Shotokan Karate Club from 1983 to 1985 Welsh National Kata Champion as 1st Kyu (3rd Brown Belt) in 1985, before returning to Ireland Attempted Black Belt in 1987 with Enoeda Sensei (8th Dan) and 1988 with Sensei Andy Sherry (6th Dan) Joined Whitehall (Shin-do-kan) Karate Club (SKIF Ireland) in 1995 Graded 1st Dan Black Belt that year by Kancho Kanazawa (Chief Instructor SKIF, 10th Dan) Instructor at Shin-do-kan Karate Club. Graded 2nd Dan in 1998, by Kanazawa Sensei (Chief Instructor SKIF, 10th Dan) Started St.Vincents Shotokan Karate Club in January 2000 and St. Josephs in September 2001 Graded 3rd Dan Black Belt in 2002 by Kancho Kanazawa (Chief Instructor SKIF, 10th Dan) Graded 4th Dan Black Belt in 2007 by Kancho Kanazawa (Chief Instructor SKIF, 10th Dan)
